Doug Weiner

 

Mr. Weiner, a co-founder of NeoTek, serves as the Vice President of Product Management and Systems for NeoTek Energy. In this role he develops strategic planning for the direction and control of product development activities, is responsible for Cognizance® Enterprise Software efforts, Intellectual Property Protection, all aspects of Information Technology. He has over 30 years of experience architecting and developing complex systems and is one of NeoTek Energy’s founders. Prior to joining NeoTek Mr. Weiner had several strategic leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Technologist at Textron’s Wireless Monitoring Solutions group. There he architected complex military and commercial wireless sensing systems and was their technical representative to the Zigbee Alliance. Mr. Weiner’s diverse experience has come from serving in various positions at Crane Co., SpectraPoint (joint venture of Motorola and Bosch), Bosch Telecom, Texas Instruments and Motorola. At Texas Instruments, he was elected Senior Member of the Technical Staff for his work as a system architect for on Local Multipoint Distribution System. Mr. Weiner holds multiple patents in communications and sensor systems and has earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Electrical Engineering.
